Ski holiday in South Tyrol – Tures Aurina Valley

Ski arena Tures Aurina Valley

Dancing snowflakes fall softly from sky.

During the winter, the Tures Aurina Valley/Valle Tures Aurina is covered by a thick layer of snow.  This means: warm clothing, skis or snowboard on your feet and a joyful run down the piste.  In the Tures Aurina Valley, skiing is more fun than anywhere else...  because of the clearly structured pistes, the great panoramic views and the friendliness of the people.

Ski arena:

The Speikboden ski region offers lots of fun from 950 metres to 2,400 metres above sea level.  The very wide pistes are suitable for beginners, as well as experts.  The 360° panoramic views of 150 summits and more than 80 mountains higher than 3,000 metres, make this ski region is very popular.  Enjoy the view of the Dolomites with the Drei Zinnen, the Ziller Valley Alps and the Durreck group.

The Klausberg mountain is also excellent for skiing.  The highlights of this ski region include the highest eight-man cabin lift facility in South Tyrol, the Fantaklaus Snowpark, the Kinderland  ‘Klausi-Land‘ and the longest and most spectacular Alpine roller coaster in Italy.  The Rein in Taufers ski region with only two lifts and four pistes is much smaller, but still a very excellent place to ski!

Only 20 minutes away is the Kronplatz, South Tyrol’s number one ski mountain.  With more than 115 kilometres of pistes, a snowboard park, Kinderland, toboggan runs, as well as Après Ski huts, nothing is left to the imagination.  For a special tour head to the Sellaronda, the circular route around the Sella massif.  In order to enjoy this tour, you need to be a good skier.
